本册书有12个核心单元,包含3个复习单元,对学生进行定期的复习和评估。本册书的一开始设计了一个Do you know…?单元,用于复习前一册书所学内容。在12个核心单元后面安排了2个文化单元,以话题的形式介绍各国文化,选择与学生日常生活密切的以及与本册教学内容相关的题材,利用学过的句型学习新的单词。在文化单元后还有3个奖励单元,作为可供选择的教学内容,也可视作机动的复习单元,可根据自己班级的具体情况灵活处理。
