| Step 1 Revision 1)Revise the sentence pattern: What’s your name ? My name’s Carl. 2) Revise some old words and then play a game. Step 2 Knowledge 1)Teach the new words: woker actor actress parents Teach to how to use a\an. 2) Teach the new sentences: What does your father do? He is an acter. What does your mother do?She is a worker. Let the pupils look at the pictures in your text books . | Step 4 Applications 1) Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns. 2)Divide the class into boy team and girl team , get one pupil from each of the team at once, and act out the dialogue. 3) Group work. 一、教学目标
1、 知识目标:能够进一步熟练表达职业的常用说法。
2、 能力目标:能听懂,会说要求的单词和句子。
3、 情感目标:进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。
二、教学重点
1. 学习掌握单词或短语:a, an, actor, parent(s), worker.
2. 掌握句型:I want to be a doctor.
What’s your dad? He’s a doctor.
What’s your mum? She’s a nurse.
三、教学难点
1. 通过创设真实典型的语言情景,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中,通过小组活动和完成任务的方式,自然运用所学知识,提高语言运用能力。
2. 让学生学会对家人进行描述。
四、教学过程
Step 1 热身 / 复习(Warm-up / Revision)
趣味搭配连句子游戏:运用本课所学的新的表达方式,滚动复习所学的词汇:
A组学生共同列出以前学过的人物词汇:dad, mum, father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, uncle, aunt, grandpa, grandma。
B组学生共同列出以前学过的职业词汇:tailor, writer, actress, actor, reporter, driver。然后,两组学生搭配成句, 一问一答:
A: What’s your dad? B: He’s a writer.
A: What’s your mum? B: She’s a tailor.
Step 2 新课导入(Presentation)
1. 做动作猜职业:教师做出一些职业的动作,让学生说出该动作所表示的职业;在很自然的情景中,做出歌手、舞蹈演员、牙医的动作,引导学生感知新单词:singer, dancer, dentist。
2. 给学生3分钟时间,仔细观察课本的三张小图片,结合图片人物的动作和职业特点,快速记忆表示职业的单词。
3. 指导学生说出句子:I want to be a .... 以小组为单位,复习操练该句型。并请学生试着说出喜欢从事该职业的原因,也可用汉语说。例如:
I want to be a teacher.A teacher can teach a lot of pupils.I want to be a doctor.A doctor can help sick people.I want to be a writer.A writer can write books.
4. 教师可以根据实际情况,补充一些内容,以满足学生的需要。可以总结一下以er结尾的职业词:
barber 理发师 writer 作家
driver 司机 waiter 侍者
farmer 农民 worker 工人
lawyer 律师 singer 歌手
porter 搬运工 cleaner 清洁工
5. 教师在黑板上示范板书Just write的单词(dad, mum, doctor, nurse)和句子(What’s
your dad? He’s a doctor.What’s your mum? She’s a nurse.)边写边带读,写完后学生
齐读。然后,找几个学生到黑板上仿写。
Step 3 趣味操练(Practice)
1. 学生看图快速说出表示职业的单词,看谁说得又快又准确。
2. 看标志猜职业:将全班分成若干小组,每组6~7人。教师向每组提供一套表示不同职业的图片进行猜测职业的练习。通过所从事职业富有代表性的图片情景,加深学生对职业词汇的学习和记忆,通过小组活动和完成任务的方式,自然运用所学知识,提高语言运用的能力。
3. 记者调查:每名学生发给一张调查表,根据表里的内容,调查好朋友的信息。
4. 播放chant 的录音,让学生感知、操练 / n / 这个音素。为突出音素可以先做分解练习:Nn→Norman→Nancy→nurse→noodles→nuts,然后再整体说 chant。
五、课后作业
复习本课所学,熟悉课后的歌谣。
