教材分析
课文在为圣诞节布置时，不可避免地用到了一些关于方位的介词，也就是本单元中的新授单词：in，on， bell，star，present，tree教师可以通过实物、游戏让学生进而理解介词的确切含义。
学情分析
   二年级的学生好奇心强、活泼好动，善于模仿。同时，他们对于简单的日常用语有所掌握，对熟悉的英语知识有所感悟，具备语言的学习和交流的欲望。但是受到词汇量与语法知识的限制，容易产生“交际失败”的现象，挫伤其英语学习的积极性。
小学二年级学生，有意注意的时间较短，同时是学生第一次接触可能性的问题，不大容易理解，所以在教学方法的选择上应主要采用游戏的形式，让学生在玩中体验，玩中创造。在游戏中让学生理解教材中比较抽象的内容，建立学生的表象。同时将所学到了理论进一步在生活中应用，从而达到教者的目的。
针对这一特点，在平日的教学中，应注重营造愉悦、欢快的学习氛围，运用多种活动增强学生参与的广度和深度，使他们在亲身体验中进行有效的学习，保持他们学习的欲望和兴趣，从而提高学习效果。
教学目标

任务后	Introduce how to decorate andsay sth about the Christmas tree	①Decorate the tree in groups ②Introduce the Christmas tree	鼓励学生在小组活动中亲密合作共同装扮圣诞树，边说边做，使英语学习生活化、自然化、交际化。

教学反思
我设计的第一环节是热身，用一首欢快的Merry Christmas把学生带入英语学习的氛围，同时揭示本单元的主题——圣诞节。第二环节是新材料展示，出示in on 单词卡，操练in on，让学生把手放到书桌的上面/下面/里面，再放书、铅笔、书包等。充分练put...in/on...，让学生先练习听做，熟悉这些句子。第三环节运用句子进行操练，虽然经过前期的操练，学生对on\in有了一定的认识，但是说起句子来还是有困难，只有少数学生能够参与其中。
在课堂上出现问题时，我是这样处理的：我把原计划的分组活动变成全班的活动，在座位上的学生自愿举手发出指令，其他学生重复。这样到后来，有越来越多的同学参与到活动中来了。虽然课堂效果没有预想的理想，但是这也是正常的，自然的，对我以后改进教学有积极作用的。值得欣喜的是，后面的教学中，学生越来越熟悉本课句型。
