本课是人民教育出版社小学英语六年级上册第一单元How do you go there?第四课时。主要讲交通规则、交通工具,本单元重点学习如何询问和回答人们日常出行的方式,这个话题与学生的日常生活紧密联系。描述出行方式的英语表达法多是由by加交通工具名称构成的,因此语法知识构成相对简单,生词量较少.。本课最重要的教学活动应该是在情境中训练“how do you go to…?”,做到学中用,用中学,边用边学,学以致用。以培养学生“用英语做事情的能力”。
1、能力目标
能正确表达交通灯以及交通规则。
2、知识目标
能够听、说、认读以下短语:Stop at a red light . Wait at a yellow light. Go at a green light。
能够听、说、读、写短语和单词:stop wait traffic lights traffic rules
3、情感、策略、文化等有关目标
1) 情感态度:培养学生自觉的遵守交通规则。
2) 学习态度:注重合作学习与实践活动,培养勤学守纪的学生。积极运用所学的英语在不同的语境和场合中进行表达和交流。
3) 文化目标:让学生了解常见的交通标志。
教学过程
1. Warm -up

3. Lead-in
Teacher says we have learned the transportation,then can you guess what we will learn in this lesson .
4. Presentation

Teacher draws traffic lights in the blackboard, then let students guess what is this .
