Physical Education Should Not Be Minor Subject

According to the latest physical reports, though students are taller and weightier nowadays, their normal eyesight, physiological function and the quality of physical fitness decreased considerably. Besides inappropriate diet, the main reason to blame is that most students, especially girl students, are lack of exercise while the extracurricular activities are low in quality. Zhejiang Province Education of Department, Zhejiang Province Physical Culture Bureau, and Communist Youth League Zhejiang Province Party Committee jointly held Video Conference on Physical Education in Schools of Zhejiang Province to study and deploy physical education in schools in the near future. Schools are required to focus on three foundation works and not to take physical education as minor subject any longer.
