教材分析
  
本单元主题为:What time do you go to school?
  
其功能为:Talk about routines; Ask about  and say times. Section A(1a-2d)主要是学习一些表示日常活动的动词短语,以及就日常活动的时间进行问答。
教学目标
1.通过口头练习和听力训练,学会使用表示日常活动的一些单词和动词短语
  
2.能正确运用一般现在时态谈论日常作息时间,就日常活动的时间进行问答。
教学重点
1) 掌握时间的简单表达方式。
  
2) 学习询问和谈论时间和制订作息时间表。
  
3).目标词汇:get up, get dressed, brush teeth, take a  shower, radio station, at night, at …o’clock;
  
4).目标语言:What time do you usually get up?
  
I usually get up at six  thirty.
  
What time does Rick eat  breakfast?
  
He eats breakfast at  seven o’clock.
  
When does Scott go to  work?
  
He always goes to work at  eleven o’clock.
教学难点
1.when和what time引导的特殊疑问句和时间的表达法。
  
2.常见表示频度的副词的用法。

Role-play
1.Do some actions and get students guess,ask:What  am I doing? Teach the new words and phrases.
  
2.Get Ss look at the pictures on P7 and speak out the daily activities quickly.
  
Then get Ss to match them  with the pictures;
  
3.Hold a clock or draw a clock  on the blackboard,ask:What’s this? What time is it? Teach how to read the  time.Show the picture in 1a and then point to the clocks in the picture and  ask Ss to tell the time.
  
Ask individual students :What  time do you usually get up/eat breakfast/go to school?
  
Then ask others:What time  does she/he get up…?
  
Offer help if necessary.
  
Ask Ss look at the picture  again and say: What time does Rick do these things? Listen carefully and draw  lines frome the colcks to the pictures.
  
1.Play the recording for the  Ss to listen.     
  
2.Check  answers.

1.Ask Ss to role play the  conversation in 1b;
  
2.Show some samples.
  
  
  
1.Talk about the picture in  2a &2b:
  
What can you see in the  picture?
  
What are they doing? Help  them answer:They are waiting to take
  
a shower .Then make them  think about: Why do they do that?
  
How do they solve the  problem?
  
1.Play the recording for the  Ss to listen;
  
2.Check answers;
  
3.Play the recording again to  finish 2b;
  
4.Check the answers .
  
  
  
Ask Ss to make a conversation with their partner.  First set

1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2d.  Then answer the questions below:
  
① Where does Scott work?
  
② What time is his radio  show?
  
③ What time does he  usually get up?
  
④ What time does he eat  breakfast?
  
What time does he usually go to work?
  
2.Play the recording for the Ss to listen and repeat.  Then let Ss work in pairs to practice reading the conversation.
  
3. Ask some pairs to come to the front and act out the conversation.  See which group does best.
  
  
  
Look at the teacher and answer the teacher’s questions;
  
  
  
Read the phrases  in 1a and match  them with the pictures.
