新标准小学英语四年级上册Module6 UNIT1 It didn't make gold说课稿
Teach aims: Stusents can use the sentence pattern in this Unit fluently.
  Vocabulary: gold, food, took, made, angry, only, away, said, real, paintbrush, magic.
  Language: This old woman didn’t have food. The bad man didn’t help people. The magic paintbrush didn’t make gold. It made snake.
  Function: telling stories.
  Moral education: We should help people if we can.
  Key points:
  It didn’t make gold.
  Difficult points: make- made, take-took, have – had.
  So he painted gold with the magic paintbrush.
  Teach aids: CAI, cassette, picture, word cards.
  Teach steps and contents:
  Strp 1 Warmer
  1. Sing two songs. Children from China are Chinese. We had a lovely day.
  2. Ask and answer. The teacher asks some questions, such as: Did you do your homework yesterday? Did you watch TV yesterday? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.
  Step 2 Presentation
  1. At first, the teacher asks the students about their hobbies. Such as: What do you like doing? Do you like watching TV/ listening to music/ reading stories? Then ask students: Have you heard the story of Ma Liang
 2. Invite some students to tell the story about Ma Liang in Chinese.
  Step 3 Listen
  1. The teacher hangs up the picture of the story on the blackboard. Ask students to listen to the cassette and look at the picture at the same time.
  2. Ask students to open their books, and the teacher plays the cassette again. This time the students are asked to circle the difficult words with pencils. And tell the teacher those words, the teacher writes them on the blackboard. Ask all the students to guess their meanings. The teacher gives some neccessisary help when they need help. At last lead to read these words.
  3. Invite students to look at the story. The teacher asks some questions about the story. Such as: What’s the name of this story? Did Ma Liang help people? What did Ma Liang have? How was Ma Liang’s paintbrush? Did the bad man get the paintbrush at last?
  4. Play the cassette again, this time pause after each sentence to let the students imitate after it. Then read after the teacher.
  5. Give students three minutes to practice the story by themselves. Then the teacher only show the picture one by one, and ask the students to try to tell the story.
  Step 3 Task
  1. Ask students to try to act the story in groups of three of four.
  2. Finish the exercises in their Activity Books.
  Homework
  Copy the words: make- made, take-took, have – had.
  1. Listen to the tape for twenty minutes.
  2. Try to imagine the result of the story.
