(3)        Ask the students to act out the dialogue.

2.        Presentation

II.  Procedures
1.        Leading-in
Greetings.   What day is it today?
                         What day is it today?
2.  Pre - task
(1) There are four seasons in a year.
There are spring, summer, autumn and winter.

(2) There are 12 months in a year, What are they review 12 months.

(3)        Song: months of  the year
How many months are there in a season?
        (4) Game: Come , months toy

3.  While - task
    (1) Present pictures (电脑呈现)
          Miss Zhou:  How many terms are there in your school year? (In the UK)
          Rose: There are four.  The first term is ….
                The second term is ….
                The third term is ……
                The fourth term is …..
            
           Present:  first, second, third, fourth
                    Read – spell – remember

           Distinguish: first and third

  (2)Look and answer: when does the autumn start? (课件呈现)
          It starts in September and ends in December.
          Teach: end.
(3)  Look and answer:  
       When does the winter / spring / summer start?
(4)  Present the dialogue
       Teach: on holiday (check)
(5)  Read the dialogue after the tape
4.  Post – task
(1)  Read the dialogue again. Compare your school year with Rose and Tom`s.
     Complete the table.

Homework:
1.        Copy the new words and dialogue
2.        Listen, read and recite the dialogue
