     1.  Warming up
           Sing a song about your family’s work.
       2.  Pre-task preparations
           A.  Read and spell the key words one by one.
           B.  Read the passage on the book.
           C.  While-task procedures
               a. Listen to the tape.
               b. Read after teacher, and learn the new words and phrases.
           D. Post-task activities
               1. Make sentences with new phrases and words.
               2. Have the students do part F - Look and write the workbook. Then check the answers with them.
               3. Have the students do part G-Look, read and complete the                                 dialogues' of the work book .then check the answers with them.
五、Homework
       Make a dialogue about your’s family’s job.

Step 1 Revision
1)Revise the sentence pattern: What does your mother do?
What does your mother do?
2) Revise some old words and then play a game.
3) Let’s sing the old song.
Step 2 Knowledge
1)Teach the new words: restaurant company library  taxi driver
2) Teach the new sentences: My mother is a teacher in a school.
My father is a manager in a big company.
Let the pupils look at the pictures in your text books.
Can you write them?
3)Step 3 Comprehension
1)Look at the slide picture and listen—Listen and point—listen and follow— practise speaking in two steps—pair work
4) Act out this dialogue in pairs.
Step 4  Applications
1) Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns.
2)Divide the class into boy team  and girl team , get one pupil from each of the team at once, and act out the dialogue.
3) Group work. Invite as many groups to act out the dialogue.
Step 5 Homework
1) Listen to the tape at home.
2) Make up the new dialogue and act it out.
3) Copy the new words three times.

教学目标        知识目标:能够用英语介绍自己的家人朋友的情况,包括职业、工作地点、工作性质、外貌描述、性格描述、日常活动等方面的综合描述及自己对他们的情感态度。
        能力目标:能听懂,会说要求的单词restaurant、company and library和句子My grandfather is a taxi driver. What’s your father job?
        情感价值:进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。
能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。
教学重点        掌握本课单词restaurant、company and library
以及句子My grandfather is a taxi driver.

教学过程        1.热身 / 复习(Warming-up / Revision)
1)播放轻柔的音乐,教师随着音乐展示描述自己父亲的系列挂图,包括职业、工作地点、工作性质、外貌特征、日常活动等方面,每出示一张都及时对自己的父亲进行介绍和描述。最好以动作辅助,让学生初步感知如何综合地介绍和描述家人或亲友,为接下来的教学奠定基础。如:如果出示的第一张挂图是教师的父亲正在为学生讲课,教师随着说:Look, this is my father.He is very handsome.He is a teacher.He works in a school.
2)快速抢答:教师依次出示体现其他职业的系列图,编好号,让学生通过回忆回答问题,迅速找出与教师父亲的相关的图片。如:教师先出示教师、医生、护士、司机等表示职业的图片,与学生展开对话:
T: What does my father do?
S1: He is a teacher.Picture 3.
T: Very good.Here is a red star for you.
S1: Thank you.
这样,依次做有关工作地点、工作性质、外貌描述、性格描述、日常活动等图片的快速抢答,后边的问题可以逐步过渡到由学生进行提问。
2.新课导入(Presentation)
1)教师展示本课的教学挂图和其它人物的系列挂图(共三套),告诉学生,其中有一套挂图是根据Tom的录音制作的,但是现在教师忘记是哪一套了,请学生听录音,找出正确的一组挂图。
2)教师请学生听过录音后分组讨论,确定答案。
3)让学生展示正确答案。
4)让学生打开书,再听录音,验证答案。
5)让学生模仿录音,分别扮做主人公,描述挂图的内容,可稍有改动。
6)让学生展示描述结果。教师和学生共同评价。
3.趣味操练(Practice)
趣味制图
1)要求学生拿出自己家长或亲友的照片,两人一组,分别综合描述自己家长或亲友的情况,
教学过程        由对方根据其描述,画出系列图。
2)让学生向全班展示自己的图画,并对图画进行综合描述。教师和学生共同评价,评出优胜者。
