教学过程

Step 1 Revision

1. Revise how towrite the 26 letters without opening their books.

2. Sing the ABCsong.

Step2 Introduction

1. Learn newwords and expressions by showing some pictures. The pronunciation of the newwords should be paid more attention.

2. Read all thenew words and expressions together. Then freely, give them some help.

Step3 Drills:

1. What’s yourname? I’m Li Si.

2. Can you spellit, please?  Yes,…

3. How areyou?  I’m fine, thank you.

Step4 Listenand read.

1. Listen andread after the tape for 2 times, then freely. Give them some help.

2. Act thedialogue out in groups, then in pairs.

Step5 Listenand sing.

Listen and learnto sing the song Good Morning.

Step6 Match.

Listen and matchthe sentences on their own. Check answers and read it in groups.

Step7 Listenand number.

Listen andnumber the sentences on their own. Check answers and read it in groups.

Step8 Write.

1. Write theanswers in Part 5,especially, they should write their answers regularly.

2. Check answersand give some encouragement.

Step9 Workin pairs

Work in pairs tofinish Part 6, Prepare for a few minutes, ask them to have an action in class.

Step10 Keys

1. Read the keystogether, then freely.

2. Have a quicktest one by one.

Step11 Read and find.

1. Read and finesome rules about the verb be.

2. Show someexercises to consolidate what they have learnt in this lesson.

Homework

1. To classifythe letters according to their pronunciation.

2. Recite thetext as possible as they can.

3. Learn to readthe 48 phonetic symbols.
