教学过程

Step 1 Revision

1.Revise how to classify the 26 letters according to their pronunciation.

2.Sing the Good Morning song.

Step 2 Introduction

1.Teachthem how to read new words and expressions according to the pronunciation ofthem.

2.Readall the new words and expressions together. Then freely, give them some help.

Step 3 Drills:

1.Thisis…, he/she is ….

2.Thisis …., his/her name is…

Step 4 Pronouns

Showthe table about pronouns and read them after the teacher.

Step 5 Listen and read.

1.Listenand read after the tape for 2 times, then freely. Give them some help.

2.ReadPart 1 in groups, then in pairs.

3.Act the dialogues out in pairs in class, encouragement should be given.

Step 6 Abbreviated forms.

Sumup what they have learnt about the abbreviated forms, read and fine the rules.

Step 7 Match.

Listenand match the sentences on their own. Check answers and read it in groups.

Step 8 Listen andnumber.

Listenand number the sentences on their own. Check answers and read it in groups.

Step 9 Work in groups.

Thisis my friend,….name is…./Hello,… nice to meet you.

Step 10 Write

Listenand finish the sentences on their own. Check answers and read it together.

Step 11 Exercises in class.

Showsome exercises to consolidate what they have learnt in this lesson. Checkanswers one by one, Encouragement should be given.

Homework

1.Watchthe video to learn how to read the 48 phonetic symbols.

2.Recitethe text as possible as they can.
