教学目标
【知识目标】
1.能够正确使用下列单词broken,glass, medical, imagine, bottom, at the bottom of…,wrong, trouble, lift up, drop, make sure, have trouble doing sth., cover…with…,
2.能够正确使用下列句型What’swrong with …?, No, that could be harmful….
【能力目标】
1.能够正确使用情态动词must,can, could表示推测。
2.能够阅读理解突发事故的文章。
【情感态度目标】
学会关心他人,为他人着想。能在意外事故出现时,运用学到的急救知识提出解决的办法。
教学重难点
【教学重点】
能够正确使用情态动词must,can, could表示推测。
【教学难点】
能够制作一张预防校园意外事故的宣传海报。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in :Warming up
1.G o over the new words in M12 in groups.
2.Ss use some main vocabulary to make up sentences.
3.Ss talk about ways of life in China and in the USA and England.
4.Learn the new words in Unit 3.
Step 2 Thestudents can learn by the themselves, and ask some questions about the study.
1.Ss finish Part1 alone and the check in groups.
2.Sum up the use of could , must, mustn’t
3.Ss finish P2 and P3 in the same way. And then sum up the use of Imperative forsuggestions
4.Ss talk about the differences between need and must.
5.Ss finish Part4 and Part5 again and then check up the answers in groups.
Step 3 Thestudents can learn the main point with the help of the teacher, and solve theproblems.
Explainlanguage points to the Ss.
一、情态动词
Must  ①必须,表命令或叮嘱。
  You must listen to me carefully in class.
  Must I finishhomework today?
—Yes,you must. No, you needn’t./ don’t have to.
  ②一定,肯定 表肯定的猜测
Tommust stay at home now because he called me just now.
Lookat the ice.  It must be very cold today.
Can, could   ①能,能够, Can表现在的能力,could表过去的能力
②可以,表示请求许可,=may,   could 语气比Can更委婉
③可能,表猜测,多用于否定句和疑问句, 此时 Can可能性比could
  Can’t 不可能,  一点可能性也没有  may not/ might not可能不
会, 还有一点可能性,但不大. 肯定句中的表示将来可能性多用may /might .
二、祈使句
1.表示请求,叮嘱,劝告,建议,禁止或命令的句子。没有时态和数的变化 主语you 常省略, 肯定的祈使句以Do(动原0开头, 否定的祈使句 don’t+ 动原开头。
2.please和人称的使用
Step 4 Effectivepractice, consolidate the knowledge
1.Do listening practice in Part6...
2.Ss make up sentences with can, must and mustn’t like in Part6.
3.Ss read the passage in Part7alone and then choose the best answers.
4.go through the passage and then find out the difficult points and then explainthe language points
5.Go through “around the world” with the Ss.
6.Ss do Exercises on PPT.
7.Ss write a passage to describe an accident
8.Sum up.
Step 5 Summaryevaluation, leak turnover
Thereare some difficulties when the students are writing something .They always makea lot of mistakes. It is necessary to teach them some skills.
课堂作业
1.Copy the wrong word and expressions
2.Copy the wrong exercises
3.Revise the language points and grammar.
