Module 9  Unit 1 Why do you like Australia?
Period One (May.15th):
Teaching points:
1) Vocabulary: because language Australia kangaroo
2) Main structure:
    Why...?          Because...
Teaching aims:
1) Ss can point to the Australian animals.
2) Ss can tell the Australian animals and using the main structures.
Teaching difficult points:
1) The students can use the main structures
2)talk about their favourite animals.  
Step 1 Lead in
1) Riddle competition
2) Qo you like riddle?
   A:Yes.
Step 2 Learning
1)Try to show them many animals pictures.
2)Try to tell:
What animal do you like?

Because...
Step 3 Text learning
1) How about the map of Australia?   
  (T show the PPT about the cities of Australia)

Period Two (May.16th):
Teaching points:
1) Review the vocabulary: because language Australia kangaroo
2) New locations:Australian
3) Try to tell the animals of other countries
Teaching aims:
1) Ss can get to know the Australian animals
2) Ss can say “Why...   Because...”
3) Get a reading practice for Unit1
Step 1 Warm up
1) Try to tell the words and sentence

Step 2 Try to learn
1) Try to learn the text

Step 5 HW:
1) Read the text(M9U2)
2) Preview of M10

Period Four (May.18th):
                      Writing Class
Step 1 Let’s review about M9 (U1-U2)
Step 2 Let’s talk about your favourite animal.
Step 3 Try to write your favourite animal.
Step 4 Homework
1)Share your animal’s composition with yor parterner.
2)Reciet the text about M9U1.

Period Five (May.19th):
                Review Lesson about M9
Step 1 Let’s review about M9 (U1-U2)
Step 2 Let’s have a dictation about M9 ten words.
Step 3 Try to reciet the text about M9U1.
Step 4 Homework
1)Correct the dictation.
2)Reciet the text about M9U2.

Teacher's thinking:

1 This content is not difficult for Ss, many Ss can use main sentence.

2 We don’t write too much at the blackboard.
