培养学生英语朗诵的节奏感,同时进行语音训练,目标是元音字母Oo在单词中的读音/U/,同时又扩展操练 give to ..., pass to ... 等表达方式。

1. 通过课堂制作活动,丰富学生的生活体验,培养学生团结友爱的积极情感,引导学生学会与人交往。
2. 在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识,培养学生学习英语的热情。

1. Warming-up / Revision (3′)
1)Play a game:说形状比赛。
把数学课上学过的各种形状用英语说出来,比一比谁说得多。(优胜者奖励贴纸)
2)展示上节课布置的任务Do a survey:组织学生以小组为单位开展What kind of cake would you like? What shape would you like? 的调查,并派代表发言。

2. Presentation ( 12′)
1)T produce the chocolate’s & ice cream’s word cards, Ss read. (发音标准正确的奖励chocolate。)
2)Learn the new words
T produce jellys and biscuits,reading the words “jelly,biscuit”,and then ask Ss to follow T. (发音标准正确的奖励jelly或biscuit。)
3)教师把各种形状的纸片贴在黑板上,让学生到前边来指图片,说形状。
4)Ss listen to the tape and repeat.
5)T read the order by arbitrary word, ask Ss to lift corresponding word’s cards.
6)Listen again. Ss read after the tape.
7)Acting. Teachers play a saleswoman with the students to quiz
T: Look at the cakes.Are they nice?
Ss: Yes, they are.
T: Do you want a cake?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: What kind of cake would you like?
Ss: I want a chocolate cake.

3. Practice (12′)
1)A student playing cake shop’s boss. Two other students group to investigate their cake shops in the types and prices, and fill out survey forms.
T asks: How many kinds of cakes do they have?
Ss: They have 10 kinds of cakes.
T: What are they?
Ss: They’re Jelly Cake, Ice cream Cake, Chocolate Cake, Fuits Cake, Cream Cake, Banana Cake, Strawberry Cake, Jam Cake, and so on.
T: How many shapes do they have?
Ss: They have 4 shapes.
T: What are they?
Ss: They are triangle cake, square cake, round cake, rectangle cake.
2)组织学生完成课本第43页的制作任务。教师在各组间巡视,督促学生在制作过程中使用恰当的英语进行交流。
3)Each group produced their hat to show all class, Ss conducted in English.
4)教师播放chant的录音2遍。学生跟着模仿,有节奏地跟读,最后边表演边说chant。

4. Assessment (10′)
Finish the activity book about the lesson.

5. Additional activities/Homework (3′)
1)形状抢答比赛:
T: I have a clock. What shape is it?
S1: It’s round.
T: Yes, clever boy\girl. One point increase
S2: I have a pencil-box. What shape is it?

S2: NO, it isn’t.
S4: It’s square.
S2: Yes, you’re right.
比一比哪一组最后得分高。(奖励贴纸)
2)A memory game:5~8个学生站成一排,开头的学生说:I'll get some ice cream.下一个学生加上自己想到的内容说:I want to buy some ice cream and some jelly.接下来依次累加单词,比比谁的记忆力最好。

2)开展自由讨论,题目是:We are going to celebrate Lisa's birthday.What presents do you want to give her?

2. Presentation (12′)
1)T: Your presents are very nice.Let's go together!
Ss: OK. Let’s go.
2)Look and introduce. Ask one student to introduce the boys and girls.
S1: The first boy is Peter. The second boy is Yang Ming. The third girl is Kate. The fourth girl is Lisa.
3)Listen to the tape and repeat.
4)Each Four Groups discuss the process of his/ her birthday heldgathering.尽量使用本课所学的表达方式如:First, we light the candles on the cake and sing the birthday song.Then I make a wish and blow out the candles.After that, I cut the cake and give each one a piece.We also have fruit and candies.We have a good time.
5)T:“如果我也来参加你们的生日聚会,你们会怎样招待我呢?”
S1: Would you like to my birthday paty?
S2: Yes, I’d love to.
S3: Would you like to my birthday paty?
S4: Sorry, I can’t.

3. Practice (12′)
1)一气呵成
方法:4~5个学生,每人手持一张动作图片,在讲台站成一排。要求其他学生在30秒内按从左到右的顺序试记这些图片。请各组组员互相交流各自的记忆顺序,同时上面的同学隐藏这些图片。教师请小组代表反馈各组记忆情况,下面的学生说chant:What do you do? What do you do? What do you do? 小组代表边做动作边回答:Light the candles.Light the candles.Blow out the candles.Blow out the candles.Make a wish.Make a wish .... 要求不间断。教师和学生根据各组的反馈予以评价。
2)城堡
方法:设计4个城堡,在每个城堡上分别标上日期。如果学生想去其中一个城堡,必须通过城堡口令,获得通行证。挑选4个学生分别扮演4个城堡的卫士,只有那些能回答卫士提问的人才可以进入城堡。如果想出城堡必须对卫士说一句赞美城堡的话,然后才可以去另外的城堡。

4. Assessment (10′)
Finish the activity book about the lesson.

5. Additional activities/Homework (2′)
1)周末汇报演出活动。
培养学生用英语做事的能力和学习英语的兴趣。请学生任选一个事先已写好动词短语的卡片,要求学生根据动词短语提示,回答同学们的各种提问,例如:What do you do on your birthday party? 如果这位学生能回答,他就可以进行提问了;如果不能回答,则还要继续,直到他能回答出一个。
2)快乐故事会。
教师先将本课的内容制作成一个小动画片,让学生欣赏。然后请学生据此创编新的小故事。

让学生熟悉字母组合fr在单词中的读音/fr/,同时巩固操练本课的单词。

1. 提高学生的语言交际能力,培养同学之间团结友爱的良好品质。
2. 提高学生的学习兴趣,巩固和扩展所学知识.

1)教师事先把水果(卡片)和本课的教师卡片放进纸盒子,不要让学生看见卡片上的内容。
2)Ask and answer.
T: Today I'm very happy.I want to give you some nice gifts.Do you want them?
Ss: Sure!
T: But, you must guess what are in the box.(可以提示学生盒子里面放的是好吃的东西。)
Ss: It’s an orange. 学生猜测的过程中,教师可以把水果(图片)和教师卡片作为奖品,分给猜中的学生。
T: Yes,it's an orange. Would you like an orange?
Ss: 引导学生回答Yes, please.
盒子里的东西全部猜完之后,教师要求学生回赠老师礼物
T: I also want something.What would you give me?
引导Ss使用 Would you like ... ? 提问。
T交替说:Yes, please.和 No, thanks.I'd like ....
3)Group work.
Students use the cards to imitate the above process quiz each other
教师在各组间巡回,监督学生积极参与活动。
4)Teachers lit several candles on table, put cake card away. Then ask one student to  listen to instructions, do the movements: “Make a wish.Blow out the candles.Cut the cake.” After that, the student speak the directive, others do the movements.
5)Play recording, Ss listen and repeat.
6)Just write. 教师板书本课四会单词和句子,学生模仿、练习书写。

3. Practice (12′)
1)唱一唱,演一演:通过唱歌的方式巩固句型:Would you like a cup of tea? Would you like a glass of juice? Would you like a piece of cake? Yes, please./ No, thanks.学生边唱边做动作。
2)“乘务员”星级评比:请学生来做乘务员,用所学语言尽可能好地为乘客提供服务。最后评出最佳乘务员。
教师示范:Would you like a cup of tea?  …
Groups Show.
3)组织学生完成课本第46页的表演活动。
4)播放本课 chant 录音,教师通过形体语言帮助学生理解 chant 的意义。再放录音,让学生模仿,有节奏地跟读,最后开展 chant 卡拉 OK 比赛。

1)调查父母和朋友最喜欢的食品和饮料,并填写下列表格。

本课以趣味故事的形式集中复现本单元所涉及的有关生日聚会的语言知识,使学生能够将所学语言运用到实际生活中去,复习日期和生日聚会的表达方式,提高交际能力。故事内容:Micky 要过生日了,他想找一个跟它同一天生日的伙伴,最后找到了大象,他们高兴地邀请小动物们一起搞了个生日聚会。

(二)Teaching Affection
1.教育学生学会与别人一起分享的意识,培养学生礼貌待人的品质。
2.丰富学生的生活体验,培养学生团结友爱的积极情感,引导学生学会与人交往。
3.培养学生学习英语的热情。

T: Good job! (奖励贴纸) Micky is not happy. What are Micky and Mimi talking about.
Ss: Micky ask, “Is your birthday on the same day?” Mimisays, “No, my birthday is on October 2nd.”
T: Clever girl/ boy. Micky is sad.Why?
Ss: Rabbit’s birthday is on October 3rd.
T: Another way, he didn’t find who has the same birthday. Look at the 4th picture.
Micky is happy.He is laughing.Why?
Ss: Elephant’s birthday is on October 1st.
T: Very good! Why does the elephant have flowers in his hands? What are they going to do?
Ss: They want to celebrate their birthday together.
T: Ha ha! They are having a birthday party! Whose birthday is it?
Ss: It’s Micky and Elephant’s.
2). Listen and repeat.
3).学生理解故事内容后,再放一遍录音让他们跟读。
4).把学生分为5人一组,分角色练习会话,然后学生带上小动物的头饰到前面表演。也可以播放幻灯片,进行配音比赛。师生共同评价,奖励表演出色的小组。

3. Practice (14′)
1.教师总结本单元对学生完成课堂教学活动的评价记录。
2.教师利用课前几分钟每次安排一组学生表演。学生可以围绕学习的重点自定表演内容,如英语诗歌朗诵和短剧表演等活动。表演时间由学生自定,但要提前通知教师。教师对学生的表演进行评定,教师的评定不是以分数的形式,而是以开展英语“争奖章”活动来进行的。
3.通过创设过生日的情景,运用本单元所学语言知识,进行生日聚会活动。
4.Make chants.
Ss compile chants.
5.Have a competition.
Ask Ss to write and direct a dialogue, and then compete.
6.Play a game: 侦探
教师请6个学生上前面来,其中5个人先从老师手中抽一张小卡片站在教室中间,音乐声一响,5个人便各自按小卡上的内容做动作。另外一名学生当侦探,不作动作,只是观察。当音乐声停后,学生动作也停止。下面的同学说出其中的一个动作,如:cut the cake,小侦探必须在限定时间内找出刚才做这一动作的同学。然后由被找出的同学来继续扮演小侦探。

制作相册。要求用以下句式进行交流:It’s January. She is skating. In March, the children plant trees.

三.Teaching important points and difficult points:
1. Words: month, January, February, March, April.

2. Presentation  (20 ’)
1)教师提问学生的生日:Whose birthday is in January / February / March/ April? 让生日在1~4月的学生到前边逐个介绍自己的生日,例如:Hi! I'm xx.My birthday is in January.让下面的学生注意听,尽力记住每个人的生日月份(不能用笔记录)。然后学生按任意顺序站成一排,让下面的学生凭记忆说出他们的生日。从第一个开始,教师说This is .... Start! 学生开始抢答,答对者得一分。看看谁的瞬间记忆好。
2)把数量相等的1~4月的英语单词分别写在纸条上,然后学生抽签得到自己的月份,按照月份分成小组,以月份名称为组名,如January Group;各小组讨论在自己的月份里有哪些节日,学校有哪些活动,周围的人会进行哪些活动。用英语记下来,不会的可以用图画表示。最后向全班介绍展示讨论结果。
3)Just write.

3. Practice  (17 ’)
1)教师请学生分成小组完成学生用书第50页的制作讨论活动。鼓励学生联想以前学过的句型来交流,例:Who is this? Where is he / she? Do you like ... ?
2)Let's read and chant

4. Assessment

1)Finish the activity book.
2)设计一张1~4月中节日的贺卡。

1)教师先让学生展示自己做的日历卡片,让学生们互相看一看,读一读。然后展示自己的几张卡片(5~8月),为大家一一介绍,引导学习本课的单词和句子。
2)Talk about mouth. 请学生说出有关5~8月的相关信息,比如节日等,引导学生探究学习,并给予学生及时的鼓励。
3)Look, listen and read by themselves.
1.展示教学挂图,播放录音,教师随着录音指示挂图中的内容。
2.T:Do you know what months they are talking about? Please read by yourselves and find the names of the months.
4)Listen to the tape again and repeat.
5)用同样的方法学习后面的三段话。借助图片、简笔画和手势动作帮助学生理解文中生词的意思,必要的地方可以用汉语适当解释。

3. Practice (15 ’)
1)Ask and answer. Practise in pairs.

What holiday is in May?
Which is the sixth month of the year?
What holiday is in June?
Which is the seventh month of the year?
What holiday is in July?
Which is the eighth month of the year?

2)Play a game.
猜月份游戏。学生四人一组,每个小组发一张白纸,要求每组裁成四小张,每张写上5—8月的英文,然后把反面扣在桌上,学生一个一个来猜,每个学生猜一张,先说英语单词,再翻开卡片,看到单词再说一个句子,例: May is the fifth month of the year.猜对并句子说对的学生赢的卡片,谁卡片多,谁是冠军。

3)小组讨论。说说自己喜爱的月份和节日,和老师、同学互相展示自己喜欢的月份或节日的照片和图片,并能用2—3句英语进行描述。

4. Assessment  (5 ’)
1. 小组讨论完毕,每组派一个同学上讲台总结汇报自己小组最喜欢的月份和节日,教师适当给予奖励。

5. Additional activities/Homework
1)Finish the activity book.
2)由学生自己选择相关的月份,在作业本上用英语写出关于这个月份至少4句话。
