1. 准备硬纸片;数量相等的5~8月的小纸条,按照学生人数准备每人一套。
2. 准备图画纸和彩笔。
3. 学生准备几张照片,最好是有5~8月日期的或是能反映出时间的。
4. 准备教师卡片和录音磁带。

伴着Months of the Year这首歌曲,分小组作采访汇报:我们小组最喜欢的月份。

2. Presentation  (15 ’)
1)Ask and answer.
T: How many month names have we learnt? Yes, we have learnt four.They are January, February, March, and April.Today we are going to learn four new month names.Do you want to know them? Look!
2)T show the card:This is the fifth month of the year.It's May.领学生读单词,然后读句子:May is the fifth month of the year.
3)用同样的方法学习6月至8月。
4)Play a game:出示5—8月的第一个英语字母,让学生猜是哪一个月份;老师说中文时,让学生说出英语,老师说英语时,让学生说中文,反复练习几次。
5)教师准备放录音:Don't worry.Let's listen to the tape.Listen carefully and try to remember the names of the months.
6)Listen to the tape and repeat.
7)Just write.

3. Practice  (20 ’)
1)绘画讨论:
组织学生分组完成课本第53页的活动。可以分成May Group, June Group等。小组讨论自己月份的常见活动,然后用图画表现出来。最后小组成员一起编对话,展示给大家。
2)Let's read and chant.

4. Assessment
Finish the activity book about the lesson.

5. Additional activities/Homework
1)Finish the activity book.
2)收集有关5—8月份的节日等等的信息,并能用简单的几句英语说出来。

2)教师展示教学挂图,通过一步一步的提问抓住学生的注意力,滚动复习旧知识,同时自然引入第一段学习目标。
T: Oh, a pretty girl! What is she doing? She is playing the piano.Do you know why? Just guess!

3)教师播放第一段录音,让学生仔细听,听后回答两个问题:9月用英语是怎么说的;教师节的日期用英语怎么说。录音放2遍。
4)按照这样的步骤学习其他三段的教学内容,借助图片、简笔画和手势动作帮助学生理解文中生词的意思,必要的地方可以用汉语适当解释。

3. Practice  (10 ’)
1)把月份名称写在卡片上,让S1抽取一张,不让其他学生看见卡片内容。S1不能出声,可以用动作,也可以用口形向大家提供信息,大家猜是几月份。
2)教师课前先制作好一个标有12月份缩写的圆盘,中间是一个可以移动的指示箭头,如钟表状,让学生分组来转,指到哪一个月,要先用英语读出来,并且再造一个句子,例: May is the fifth month of the year.说对的学生为本组赢得小旗子,哪组旗子多,哪组是冠军。

5. Additional activities/Homework  (5 ’)
1)Finish the activity book.
2)学生分组制作一年12个月的英语月历,要求把星期和月份都用英语缩写表示出来,并加上一些自己喜欢的装饰。下次课展示评比。

1)组织学生完成课本第56页的制作活动。可以分为3~4人一组,按照课本中提示的步骤制作。制作完成后,拿着卡片自由会话,除了使用新学的内容,鼓励学生联想使用以前学过的内容。

以有趣的故事形式,通过Mimi, Micky的故事,综合再现本单元的核心学习内容,让学生在新的语境中再次强化所学内容,让学生体会到语言学习的乐趣,提高学习自信心,促成语言知识向言语技能的转化。

2. Presentation  (10 ’)
1)教师把挂图上的日历用纸片挡住,把挂图展示在黑板上。首先让学生猜时间,每次猜一幅图。
What month is this? 提醒学生根据图画的背景来猜。如果有学生猜对,教师就及时表扬,同时把遮挡的小纸片拿下来。It's .... You are a clever boy / girl! How do you know it? 让学生说出理由。
2)猜测完时间后,教师接着问学生:What is Mimi doing in this picture? What is Micky doing in this picture? 每幅小图都问同样的问题,最后引导学生得出结论:Mimi likes reading. She reads many books. Micky likes playing. He never reads books.
3)教师准备放录音:There is an interesting story about Mimi and Micky.Do you want to know it? Let's listen! 放录音让学生听。
4)找一个学生来说说故事的大概内容。教师给以鼓励。
5)Listen to the tape and repeat.

3. Practice (15 ’)
1)让学生三人一组,一人做解说,分角色练习。最后戴上面具到前面表演,1—2组。师生共同评价。

2)Play games.
1.组词大赛:教师为学生提供本课单词所涉及到的字母,然后让学生在限定时间内开展组词大赛,组词最多者获胜。字母可以重复使用,但是不可以用没有提供的字母。
2.看日历填空
提供月份日历,请学生根据日历卡所提供的月份,通过思考,添入相关信息,如:本月份是一年的第几个月份,本月份有什么节日,人们都做什么事情等。

4. Assessment

1.在分角色扮演Fun story 时,适时给予奖励。
2. Finish the activity book about the lesson.
3. 进行第五单元测试后,给予评价。

5. Additional activities/Homework  (5 ’)
1)Finish the activity book.
2)听写第五单元的四会词和句子。
3)安排两个课时进行第五单元测试。

2).展示本课教学挂图,让学生观察,教师介绍:
The first season in a year is SPRING.
In China ,SPRING is February,March and April.

3).教师指着挂图,让学生听录音,理解课文内容.
4).再播放录音,让学生听后模仿,根据学生实际情况多播放几遍.
3.Practice
1).让学生合上书看挂图,播放录音,让学生听录音模仿.
2).让学生两人一组,以pair work 的形式练习本课58页下面的小对话.

4.Additional activities
用学过的句型和单词作替换练习.用学过的词语,结合实际情况说出更多的句子,比一比谁说出的句子多.

     简笔画,然后指着图说单词,多说几遍,帮助学生熟悉这些词语的意思.
  2) 播放Just practise 部分的录音,让学生听,然后再播放录音让学生跟读模仿.
  3) Groups work
     把学生分成五人一组,要求把所想到的内容尽量用英语表达出来,不会的请教老师.教师在各组间巡回,帮助学生解决问题.
  4) 教师在黑板上示范板书Just write 部分的单词和句子,一边写一边读,写完后让学生齐读.然后选几名学生到黑板上仿写,其他学生在自己的练习本上书写,最后师生共同对学生的书法作品进行评价.
3.Practice   
  1) 让学生在四张小纸片上分别写上:farm the land ,go camping ,look at the flowers, fly kites四个词语.选ABC三个学生到讲台上来.其中A拿着一个大写 I 的卡片,学生B拿着一个大写HE的卡片,C拿着farm the land ,go camping ,look at the flowers ,fly kites 的词语卡片,C 任意举 片,比如farm the land ,A 马上说:I farm the land in spring ,B 接着说:He farms the land in spring .
  2) 师生一起学唱 Two little spring birds ,给歌曲配上动作,分小组表演.
  3) 播放chant的录音,让学生听两遍.再播放录音,让学生跟着模仿.最后学生自己打拍子齐声说chant.
4.Additional activities
  1) 回家后把今天学的歌曲唱给家人听.
  2) 画几张有关春天活动的画在上面写上几句英语.

      2) 教师在黑板上画一个大温度计,根据当天的情况,用彩笔标出夏季的一般温度,然后指着温度计,问学生:
         T:  What's the weather like in summer ?
         S:  It's very hot .
      3) 教师在温度计两侧各画一个温度计,并用不不同颜色的彩笔标上温度,数字按照高,更高,最高的顺序排列,分
         别指着温度计学习hot ,hotter ,hottest.
      4) 用类似的方法帮助学生理解文段中的其他生词.
      5) 展示教学挂图,播放录音,让学生听录音,整体理解文段内容.
      6) 再次播放录音,让学生指图模仿.
  3.  Practice
      1) 让学生分角色表演对话,鼓励他们到讲台上表演给大家看.师生共同评价.
      2) 让学生用所带的相片介绍自己的家人的兴趣和爱好.
      3) 排列顺序:把本课的句子分别写在不同的纸片上,打乱顺序挂在黑板上,让学生将对话重新排列.看哪一组最完成任务,发给贴纸奖励.

  1. Warming up
     1) 播放歌曲Wake up .wake up !师生一起学唱.
     2) Free talk
  2 .Presentation
     1) 教师使用教学卡片或者在黑板上画简笔画,借助生动的形象让学生学习hot ,rainy ,plant rice,
        play on the beach ,look for shells ,make a sandcastle 等词语 .
     2) 学生理解词语的意思后,教师播放录音,让学生看卡片跟读.反复几次.
     3) 教师按顺序举起卡片,让学生说出卡片上的内容.
     4) 教师展示教学卡片的反面,即只有单词的一面,让学生认读.
     5) 教师以任意顺序展示卡片的单词,让学生认读抢答.
     6) Pair work .学生两人一组,一人举卡片,另一个读单词.然后交换.
     7) 教师在黑板上示范板书四会单词和句子,边写边读,写完后让学生齐声朗读.
3. Practice
     1) 教师举着plant rice 的卡片问学生: Is he planting rice?学生回答:Yes ,he is .接着拿起 look for shells卡片,问学生:Is she planting rice?学生回答:No ,she is looking for shells .
        
     2) 用同样的方法替换练习剩下的教学卡片内容.
     3) Pair work .学生两人一组,按照上面的方式进行替换练习.
     4) 播放chant的录音,让学生小声跟着说,再放录音让学生大声说.最后,让学生自己拍手打出节奏, 齐声说chant。
        
4. Additional activities
     自由联想: 联想与夏季有关的事物,看看谁的联想最丰富.把其中的一部分内容用英语写出来,不会英语表达的用汉语记下来.
